@OathOfOdium me too, its still there but not nearly as strong as it used to be. I used to have to do legit EVERYTHING in intervals of ten! like breathe in intervals of ten, eat 10 chips at a time, if i touched something id have to touch it with all ten fingers, touch something ten times. it was out of control and im so happy its better now but i know itll never be completely gone.

I have OCD. And living with someone who doesn’t have it makes me so stressed out. My husband has no idea how much this effects me. I constantly clean, constantly arrange.. Right now we live in a small apartment and he is in college to be an engineer.. Which means, gizmos and computer and mechanical parts everywhere! It makes me feel insane. There’s no where to put any of it and nothing has a place of it’s own.. It’s stressful since he doesn’t understand how much it effects me.

I remember watching a show about this once, and there was a girl who could sometimes get stuck to things in her house, and couldn’t get free until her mother or father pulled her away.
Like, she would play in the living room and hit the wall, and she would be stuck to the wall completely, unable to move.
Like.. Wow.

I”ve had OCD since I was about 5. I remember thinking that my friends must have the same thoughts and thinking it was totally normal. I remember thinking how my mum went all those years without being driven around the bend from the thoughts.
I remember once I painted the door with my finger paints to make myself feel better and to get away the feeling of needing to and as I got older I realised those feelings weren’t right and then when I was 14 I seen something on it and I realised I had OCD.
